ภาควิชาอายุรศาสตร์เขตร้อน คณะเวชศาสตร์เขตร้อน มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ได้จัดโครงการอบรมระยะสั้น 7th Short Course in Tropical and Travel Medicine และ 1st International Short course in Travel Medicine 2023 เพื่อเป็นการให้ความรู้ ฝึกทักษะแก่แพทย์ทั่วไป แพทย์เฉพาะทาง แพทย์ประจำบ้าน รวมถึงพยาบาล และบุคลากรทางการแพทย์อื่นๆ ที่สนใจด้านเวชศาสตร์เขตร้อน (Tropical Medicine) และเวชศาสตร์การเดินทางและท่องเที่ยว (Travel Medicine) เพื่อให้สามารถให้การดูแลนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทย และชาวต่างชาติได้อย่างความถูกต้อง และเหมาะสม ตรงตามหลักวิชาการในระดับนานาชาติ และยังเป็นการถ่ายทอดประสบการณ์ ความรู้และแนวทางปฏิบัติใหม่ๆ

การอบรมนี้เหมาะสำหรับ

1. แพทย์ทั่วไป แพทย์เฉพาะทาง แพทย์ประจำบ้าน นักศึกษาแพทย์รวมถึงบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ที่ดูแลรักษานักท่องเที่ยวก่อนและหลังการเดินทาง
2. แพทย์และบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ที่สนใจในสาขาเวชศาสตร์เขตร้อน หรือสาขาเวชศาสตร์การเดินทางและท่องเที่ยว
3. พยาบาลที่ทำงานในคลินิกนักท่องเที่ยว หรือคลินิกวัคซีน เนื่องจากปีนี้มี session และ workshop เฉพาะสำหรับพยาบาล
4. แพทย์ นักศึกษาแพทย์ผู้สนใจสมัครเป็นแพทย์ประจำบ้าน หรือ ต้องการศึกษาต่อด้านเวชศาสตร์การเดินทางและท่องเที่ยวแพทย์ประจำบ้าน

Welcome to the 1st International Short Course in Travel Medicine held by Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University. Although it is the first time that we ‘formally’ held the short course, Travel Medicine is not new to us. We are play major roles in service, education and research in this field for more than 2 decades. Our service parts are Thai Travel Clinic and the Bangkok Hospital for Tropical Diseases. Our staffs runs various academic program including DTM&H, MCTM, MSc and Ph.D (TropMed). We are also the first university hospital that could run the Residency Training in Preventive Medicine (Travel Medicine) for doctors. Apart from that, we also have collaborated with many tropical/travel medicine institutes all around the world.

This short course will parallelly in three rooms, i.e. Room A: Tropical Medicine(Thai), Room B: Travel Medicine (Thai) and Room C: Travel Medicine (English).

Our international guest will not only gain knowledge from lecture/symposium during our short course. Our program included some workshops with hand-on experience which you can gain skill and experience the practice of travel/tropical medicine. Moreover, you will have a chance to visit our Hospital and our Thai Travel Clinic as well. All logistics will be provided from the venue and it has already included in the registration fee.
